After-School BASE

Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays  two choices: 3:15 pm - 4:45 pm
or 6:00 pm;
Wednesdays   2:05 pm - 4:45 pm or 6:00 pm

BASE for Kindergarteners is in all three elementary schools, which offer programming for Kindergarten through Grade 3 students. BASE is a time for hands-on, fun activities, a time when children choose from a range of activity options presented by the BASE teaching staff. Each afternoon includes outdoor play.

During activity time, children seem to relish the chance to make an activity choice, whether it be a nature walk, gym game, creative art project, or music. Free play is an important part of each day as children's friendships develop and deepen. For Kindergarteners, activities like building with MagnaTiles, wooden blocks, and K'Nex are always popular as are extended time for drawing and dramatic play.
