UNIVERSAL FREE MEALS ARE PERMANENT IN MASSACHUSETTS

Massachusetts will become the eighth state to make universal free school meals a permanent program.  All students will be eligible for one free breakfast and lunch every school day.  Second lunch purchases will be charged full price ($3.50 elementary, $3.75 middle, $4.00 high).  A la carte milk costs $.75. There is no provision to provide free milk without a full lunch.   

Breakfast is available every morning in your school's kitchen.  Elementary School students will be asked to sign up for lunch each morning in their classrooms, and Middle and High School students will make their lunch selections in the cafeteria.

End of Year Refunds or Transfer of Funds:
Please note that a la carte items will not be sold to students with negative accounts…..even if they have cash.

Elementary School:  $3.50
 Middle School: $3.75
High School:  $4.00
