Student Transportation

Student Transportation

Welcome to the Wayland Public School transportation page! The Transportation Department provides safe and punctual transport for all students in grades K-12.

This year upon commencement of the Hybrid Model of instruction, the Wayland Public Schools will provide transportation to students who have registered for transportation, are enrolled in Kindergarten through Grade 6 and live more than two miles from school.

Due to the limited number of riders allowed on school buses this year, as defined by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE), the Wayland School Committee voted on Wednesday, October 7, to fully refund families who paid a fee for transportation for this year.  If you have paid a fee for transportation and would like more information, please feel free to contact our Transportation Coordinator, Melissa Ricci at Melissa_Ricci@waylandps.org or me at Susan_Bottan@waylandps.org.

Parents, guardians and students who will be transported this year to and from school are asked to read the 2020-2021 TRANSPORTATION HANDBOOK to learn more about health and safety protocols established for transporting students for the 2020-2021 school year
