Student Transportation

 Welcome to the Wayland Public School transportation page! The transportation department provides safe and punctual transport for all students in grades K-12. Please refer to our Transportation Handbook in the sidebar for information regarding registration, bus passes and fees, student and parent expectations, and information on how we create our routes.

Bus registration for 2020-2021 is open from March 2, 2020 - March 31, 2020.

2020-2021 BUS REGISTRATION STEPS

1 – REGISTER ALL CHILDREN WHO INTEND TO RIDE THE BUS

2 – PAY FOR ALL STUDENTS WHO REQUIRE PAYMENT

 

Reminder: Students in K-6 living more than two miles from their districted schools, are eligible to receive town-paid transportation.  Students in K-6 living less than two miles from their districted schools, and all students in grades 7-12, are eligible for fee-based transportation, based on space availability.

*You may also mail in a check made out to "Wayland Public Schools" Please indicate which child you are paying for in the memo line of your check.

FAST FACTS

Every student who intends to ride the bus must be registered

Bus fees are $300 per student, capped off at $850 per family

All registrations after March 31, 2020, are based on space availability and increase to $400 per student and to $1,150 per family

For lost bus passes, there is a $10 fee for replacement
